Since the Vietnam era, at the very least, Television and the entertainment Industry in General have been tools of Liberal Left Wing Pomposity aimed at redesigning our way of thinking, and force feeding the agendas of oxymoronic liberalism on the American Public.
In the oxymoronic fantasy world of Hollywood self righteousness, talented Conservative and Non-Liberal personalities have been taught to either stay in the closet or kiss their careers good bye.
Hypocrisy at its most vile , in fact it mirrors the McCarthy era standards of black listing left wingers - mention the McCarthyism of 50 years ago and Left Wing entertainers and moguls ,many who weren't even born at the time of McCarthyism will foam at the mouth.
Point out that they are doing the very same thing Now that was done in the McCarthy Era ,and they'll spew parroted rationale or a denial.
Vin Di Bona, Producer of MacGyver, Entertainment Tonight, and America's Funniest Home Videos as well as a high ranking member of Caucus for Producers, Writers & Directors was caught on tape making the statement regarding the black listing of Non Liberals and promoting Left Wing causes "I'm happy about it, actually." Di Bona further stated that MacGyver, which he produced, was a tool of the anti-gun movement.
Di Bonas gloating pompous admission was reported in Primetime propaganda by Ben Shapiro and caused a bit of a tempest in the teapot at the Caucus for Producers, Writers & Directors. Several members resigned in protest and although the caucus attempted to sweep the issue under the carpet - it wouldn't gel. They were eventually forced to adopt a resolution to stand against discrimination based on political ideology.
Some estimates put the Democrat to Republican ratio in Hollywood at about 98 to 2, These guesstimates are somewhat tainted as Republican and Conservative leaning entertainers are in fear of being black listed should they speak out on their political orientations.
Established well known personalities such as Clint Eastwood, Sylvester Stallone and the Late Great Charlton Heston are examples of personalities whom Hollywood Limousine Liberals and pandering Progressives couldn't do much damage to, they made their names, their fortunes and careers before coming out of the closet with their right leaning orientations.
There is a group of people in Hollywood that are conservative, but by the nature of the word itself, they are just reticent to speak out. And they are reticent because they feel that they will maybe lose work, or they will be chastised in some way for having political views. Clint Eastwood
I've come to understand that a cultural war is raging across our land, in which, with Orwellian fervor, certain acceptable thoughts and speech are mandated.... For example, I marched for civil rights with Dr. King in 1963 - long before Hollywood found it fashionable.
But when I told an audience last year that white pride is just as valid as black pride or red pride or anyone else's pride, they called me a racist. .... I've worked with brilliantly talented homosexuals all my life. But when I told an audience that gay rights should extend no further than your rights or my rights, I was called a homophobe.... I served in World War II against the Axis powers. But during a speech, when I drew an analogy between singling out innocent Jews and singling out innocent gun owners, I was called an anti-Semite. Charlton Heston
Upcoming and struggling entertainers with vast potential are basically blocked from further advancement in the Liberal Bastion of Tinseltown, once they show their true colors- Black Listed .
In 2012 Hollywood actress Melissa Joan Hart revealed her preference for Mitt Romney over Obama, she went from a beloved promising starlet to a blacklisted outcast instantaneously.
In an interview with the Huffington Post , she recounted how she was suddenly being figuratively spit on and called every name in the book.
People wrote that they hope I die, and that they hope my children are gay ... hate was ... unbelievable that I got just from saying that simple tweet .. just by saying I was voting [for Romney.
Hart stated in an interview with Sean Hannity that holding conservative beliefs in Hollywood is a little scary because of the black list atmosphere that results.
Cuban American actress Maria Conchita Alonso, was cast to star in the Latino version of the Vagina Monologues, untill that is she cut an ad for a California tea party group known "secure the borders" . Fatal Error, The play's theater received threats from intolerant Liberals to disrupt the performance and destroy the show , as well as physical threats if Alonso remained in the cast. How's that for diversity ?? Alonso was forced to leave the show and the Plays producer shrugged it off
We really can't have her in the show, unfortunately. Of course she has the right to say whatever she wants. But we're in the middle of the Mission. Doing what she is doing is against what we believe
>Vince Vaughn's the Wedding Crashers star teamed up with Glenn Beck to produce a reality show for the GBTV network. The show Pursuit of Truth, pits 20 documentary filmmakers against each other. Vaughn supported Ron Paul for president in 2008 and 2012. Given the Left's outright rabid animosity toward anything outside the box, Mr. Vaugh most likely did irreparable damage to his career. But his courage is duly noted - he's broadcasting the fact that he's not afraid of teaming with a non-liberal in his dealings with Glenn Beck if the deal makes good business sense.
Conservative icon Ben Shapiro interviewed a number of major Hollywood players. without exception, they brazenly boasted of their hostility toward opposing views , in particular conservatives. they bragged about injecting liberalism into programming and excluding or negatively portraying conservatism.
Susan Harris, a protege of Norman Lear and creator of Golden Girls, called conservatives idiots with medieval minds.
Lawrence O'Donnell of MSNBC stated : The Writers Guild of America, my union, is, at a minimum, 99 percent leftist liberal... And we don't know how to write it. We don't [We Won't] . Ben Affleck: Big Republican Actors Are Hard to Watch
My only firsthand experience with actual blacklisting occurred while casting a film in 2007. We auditioned a well know Conservative TV star and he nailed the part. All of the producers, myself included, were inclined to hire him on the spot. His audition was that good. Immediately after he left the room, we began discussing our feelings. The director then looked at us straight in the eyes and said,
Isnt he one of them right wingers? ...... Well, I dont want any of them right-wingers in my movie.
That was simply the end of it. The actor was no longer considered. However, prior to our leaving the room, I looked at the director and told him/her,
Just be careful, there may be one of those right-wingers in the room talking with you right now.
